Airtel Plans to Offer Free Incoming Calls on International Roaming |

Bharti Airtel recently announced the launch of its new International Roaming (IR) packs to offer revised value proposition to its customers. Airtel prepaid mobile recharge with international roaming will now let customers travel abroad and also avail the convenience of carrying their mobile phone while staying connected and not worrying about high charges for calling and data usage. Both Airtel postpaid and prepaid customers will be able to avail these Airtel topup packs.
Airtel mobile top up - International Roaming (IR) packs
The new IR packs will be offering free incoming calls, free texts to India and some other data benefits. Users will also be able to get free India calling minutes across popular destinations. During their travel, customers will no more have to worry about incoming calls or calling back their loved ones home. Airtel mobile charges for calls to India and local in-country calls have been reduced to as low as INR 3/min across popular cities.
Airtel data pack benefits relevant to the roaming plan
The company also announced that once the data pack benefits are exhausted, international roaming will be charged at just INR 3/MB which is 99% less than INR 650/MB. With this customers will be able to enjoy uninterrupted data usage and be free of bill related worries. Without having to wait for public Wi-Fi or free access, users can now access their emails, websites and social media in a secure manner. Customers will be able to plan their communication budgets well as there are plans with one day validity as well as with 30 days of validity.
