Airtel Vodafone and Idea hike prices |

The top 3 telecom operators; Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, and Idea have hiked prices of its on-net 10p/min calling STV (Special Tariff Voucher) in the Kolkata circle. Airtel has hiked its on-net 10p/min calling voucher to Rs. 123 from the earlier price of Rs. 97. Similarly Vodafone increased its prices for its prepaid users and the new price of its rate-cutter plan is Rs. 118 to the earlier price of Rs. 98. While the lowest player is Idea and has kept its prices to Rs 91 from the earlier price of Rs 79.
With this increase we will have to wait and watch if rest of the telco's plan on increasing their on-net calling prices or continue to offer lower rates for the benefit of their customers. Aircel, Reliance, and Tata DoCoMo are providing cheap on-net calling vouchers at Rs 79, Rs 92 and Rs 85 respectively.
