Airtel launches the INR 597 Prepaid Plan with validity of 168 Days |

Telecom operator Bharti Airtel has recently introduced a prepaid plan costing INR 597 and valid for 168 days. With this Airtel recharge pack, the company is providing all the three benefits of voice calls, SMS and data. However, this plan is designed only for heavy-voice calling users. Users who will met that criteria can avail unlimited voice calling without any FUP limit. Amongst other combo prepaid mobile recharge plans that offer unlimited voice calls without any limit, the INR 597 is one. Airtel is having this plan only for select users and that is one of the biggest drawbacks that are there on this offer.
Details of Airtel Mobile Recharge pack - INR 597
Airtel is offering just one plan i.e. the INR 1000 pack which has validity similar to the recently released INR 597 plan. To launch a pack with such a long validity period is quite unusual for Airtel. Under the new plan, the company is offering unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit, 10GB of data benefit and 100 SMS per day which adds up to make it 16,800 SMSes for the whole validity period which is 168 days.
Airtel Recharge Plan – INR 597
On the newly launched offer, Airtel has kept no restrictions in terms of data benefits which is similar to its INR 995 plan. The INR 995 plan has a longer validity of 180 days in which it offers unlimited voice calls without any limit, 1GB data per month, and 100 SMS per day.
When both these plans are compared, the INR 597 is better as it has offers more data benefits without any data limits on monthly basis.
Reliance Jio is offering its INR 999 pack with a long validity of 90 days and benefits including unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day and 60GB of 4G data. Airtel’s INR 597 plan is nevertheless better than Jio’s 999 plan as the former’s validity is longer. Relatively both have their own benefits as Jio is giving an open market availability and data benefits whereas Airtel is focusing more on voice and SMS benefits.
