BSNL Introduces STV 269 Offer in Tamil Nadu Circle |

In a bid to compete with incumbent telecom operators, BSNL or Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has recently started releasing promotional offers so that its prepaid customers can benefit. The telecom operator has lately launched the BSNL mobile recharge pack that has both voice and data benefits. Costing INR 269, the BSNL mobile top up plan is valid for 21 days.

BSNL STV Combo Plan
The BSNL STV Combo 269 was announced to be effective in Tamil Nadu from 17 May. With the plan, BSNL is offering unlimited on-net calls with 20 minutes of off-net calls. After 20 mins the caller will be charged 20p/min for off-net calls. It also includes 1GB data per day for 21 days after which the speed will come down to 128 Kbps. As per the details, voice calls will be limited to home network while the data will be available even while roaming. Starting from May 17, the new plan will be valid for 90 days and post that it will be modified as per the market need.
Tamil Nadu based BSNL prepaid mobile users can activate the plan through web portal, self-care portal or C-Top-up. Airtel and Idea offers on the other hand, have more benefits that what BSNL is offering. For example, Airtel is offering unlimited Airtel to Airtel calls for 70 days in addition to 1GB data per day under its INR 244 plan. Idea also, is offering unlimited Idea to Idea calls for 70 days besides 1GB data per day under its INR 297 plan.
