BSNL Launches New Prepaid Tariff Plan with Data without Any FUP for 84 Days |

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited or BSNL has recently released the ‘COOL’ offer for its prepaid customers. The new offer features unlimited voice calls including roaming calls in addition to 100 SMS per day. The BSNL recharge offer is priced at INR 1,099 and offers unlimited data benefit without any daily or monthly FUP limit. A BSNL prepaid recharge customer will be able to gain the benefits of this plan for 84 days from the date of recharge.
BSNL Prepaid Mobile Recharge Plan – INR 1099
According to BSNL, it is offering all these benefits at just INR 13 per day. This BSNL plan is valid across PAN-India wherever BSNL services are available. However, Mumbai and Delhi are not included. With the same plan, users will be able to avail free PRBT (Personalized Ring Back Tone) to the customers for the entire validity period.
BSNL Prepaid Plan Limitations
As per the findings, this is one of the best prepaid tariff plans from BSNL. Nevertheless, BSNL is offering its prepaid customers data benefits in just 3G and not 4G unlike other prepaid tariff plans which have been issued by incumbent telecom operators like Reliance Jio, Vodafone, Airtel and Idea Cellular.
BSNL has also started 4G operations in five regions of its Kerala circle. It is not certain if BSNL users based in these regions will be able to enjoy the data benefit in 4G. It is known that customers in these regions are able to avail 4G network with the same 3G SIM card. This increases the possibilities of data benefits in 4G. BSNL 4G is offering download speeds of more than 50 Mbps.
With its new offer, BSNL has surprised its competitors including Idea Cellular, Reliance Jio, Vodafone, and Airtel. BSNL is now working hard to win a favorable market position by offering benefits at just INR 13 per day. The unlimited voice calls without any FUP are even more attractive features of the BSNL top up plan.
The State-run telecom company is not having any concrete plans to extend its 4G coverage to other circles soon. The company is seeking additional spectrum from the Government to expand the coverage. As of now BSNL is offering 4G services only in Kerala on 2100 MHz spectrum.
