BSNL Releases New Prepaid STV INR 698 offering 180 Days Validity and 200GB Data |

Recently, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited or BSNL introduced a new data STV INR 698 to offer maximum benefits to its prepaid users. Currently the market consists of a large number of data consumers and most subscribers wish to use their mobile as hotspot for internet purposes. The telecom operator launched this plan on the Diwali occasion as a mobile recharge plan providing large data benefit. The recharge pack offers 200GB data for a period of 180 days. However the operator will be offering this pack only till November 15, 2019 that too in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circles only. This recharge plan has been added to BSNL’s other offerings such as INR 56, INR 109, INR 198 and INR 1,498. It is so far not known whether BSNL plans to further launch this plan in other circles as well.
BSNL Data Only Recharge Pack – INR 698
BSNL has been applying constant efforts on the front of bringing in new mobile recharge plans. The state run telecom operator recently launched the INR 698 pack on the eve of Diwali 2019. This is a data only plan introduced by the operator with total data benefit of 200GB which can be utilized by the subscriber over a validity period of 180 days. Other prepaid plans of BSNL have a data limit whereas this one is not having the data limit due to which it comes as a great relief for many subscribers.
As of now, BSNL has released the INR 698 Data STV only in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana circle. So far BSNL has not provided any update on whether it is going to launch the aforementioned plan in other circles as well. As per the company’s announcement, the availability of this plan will be only till November 15, 2019.
BSNL Mobile Data Recharge STVs
BSNL is also offering other Data STVs one of which starts at INR 7. Prepaid STVs launched by BSNL include INR 16, INR 56, INR 109, INR 198, and INR 1498. The INR 7 and INR 16 data STVs give 1GB and 2GB benefit respectively with a validity of 1 day. INR 56 STV of BSNL provides 1.5GB data per day for 14 days. The operator’s INR 109 recharge offers 1536 MB data along with free personalized ringback tone benefit.
Besides the aforesaid top up plans, BSNL is also providing STV 198 with 2GB data per day and PRBT benefits for 54 days. The pack is however not offering any unlimited voice calling benefit but comes with a 54 day validity which is very unusual for BSNL to offer for a plan below INR 200. Another BSNL prepaid recharge offer is the 1,498 Data STV which comes with 91GB of data for a period of 365 days.
Comparison of BSNL Data STV Plans and Daily Data Prepaid Plans
BSNL’s STV 198 offers 2GB data per day for 54 days whereas the INR 187 prepaid plan gives 3GB daily data for 28 days. This makes a total data benefit of 108GB for the 198 pack and 84GB with the 187 pack. In spite of the 198 plan having a better validity, the STV 187 offers unlimited voice calling along with 100 SMSes per day.
