BSNL adds 2GB data to every Prepaid Combo Pack |

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has made yet another move to counter its strong opponent Reliance Jio in terms of releasing attractive plans. The telecom operator has increased its data benefit offering on its unlimited combo plans by 2GB which will now makes the 3G data STVs offer extra 2GB on top of existing freebies. BSNL’s prepaid combo plans including INR 999, INR 666, INR 485, INR 429 and INR 186 will now offer additional 2GB daily data over and above current benefits. 3G Data STV plans of INR 448, INR 444, INR 349 and INR 187 will also be providing the same benefit.
Additional 2GB data offer on BSNL prepaid recharge plans
The offer, as per a statement from BSNL, will be available from June 18, 2018. All other benefits on the plans will remain the same. BSNL plans including prepaid unlimited combo plans of INR 186, INR 429, INR 485, INR 666 and INR 999 offer unlimited voice calls without any daily or weekly FUP limit. INR 186 and INR 999 also consist of truly unlimited data. BSNL provides an after FUP speed of 40 Kbps just as what Airtel and Jio have been providing.
Other Prepaid tariffs by BSNL
INR 186 recharge pack is now offering 3GB data which is exactly what Jio is offering with its INR 149 plan. This pack is valid for 28 days from the date of recharge. The INR 429 plan gives 3GB data benefit per day with a validity of 81 days. BSNL 666 plan offers 3.5GB data benefit per day for 120 days. Lastly, INR 999 plan offers 3GB data per day for 180 days. In the range of unlimited STVs the Triple Ace 333 plan offers data benefits of 5GB per day. INR 444 plan offers 6GB data per day.
BSNL has released this offer on a promotional basis for 60 days starting from June 18, 2018 which is far longer than the validity period of Jio i.e. 30 days. The plans are already effective across the circles from the date. Users will be able to recharge it from the company’s website as well as application. Also, the company’s offer differs in Kerala circle.
