Idea Cellular Introduces 4G services in Jammu and Kashmir |

In Jammu & Kashmir, Idea Cellular has recently announced the launch of its 4G services. By the end of the month the company is planning to expand its 4G network to cover 10 towns as an expansion of its current roll out in Jammu.

Idea 4G services will now be available in 20 towns including major cities of Jammu, Rajouri, Udhampur, Reasi, Punch, Samba and Kathua by June 2017. The Chief Corporate Affairs Offices of Idea Cellular, Mr. Rajat Mukarji pointed out in his statement that the operator has been investing in the expansion of the network to become a PAN-India wireless broadband operator. “Over the last one year, Idea has more than doubled its mobile broadband network on the 4G/3G platform, which now covers over 50% of India’s population” stated Mukarji.
Idea 4G data mobile top up services in Jammu
As per the company’s official reports, Idea’s mobile broadband data services are available to nearly 500 million subscribers across 100,000 villages and towns. Sudhir Pradhan, Chief Operating Officer of Idea Cellular in Punjab, HP and J&K said that the company is delighted to launch a world-class, high-speed 4G service for Idea customers in Jammu. “Idea 4G services will be further expanded to cover 20 key towns by June end” added Pradhan.
Idea Cellular has also announced the concept of Digital Idea, a suite of digital applications for customers in Jammu & Kashmir circle. In Digital Idea offer, the company has included entertainment apps including Idea Music lounge, Idea movie club and Idea Game Spark for customers based in J&K circle.
At INR 348, Idea is offering 1GB of data per day and 1GB of free data for free 4G SIM upgrade.
