In a report by Cellular Operators Association of India (an industry body), it was recently said that GSM mobile subscription had expanded to 75.56 crore as a result of adding 64.9 lakh users in December 2015.
Chief Executive for Consumer Business of Reliance Communications, Gurdeep Singh stated “I am happy to share we are increasing financial guidance for capex this year from Rs 3,000 crore to Rs 4,000 crore.” Singh also mentioned that part of the investment will go in upgrading their 4G network services. In the coming years, the company plans to make similar investments to further enhance their 3G and 4G services.
