Seeing Reliance Jio’s Summer Surprise offer as a disruptive innovation, TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) asked the LTE mobile network operator to draw back the offer as it violated the terms and conditions of the regulating authority. However, Reliance Jio has presented its customers with a new scheme that goes by the name of ‘Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan’ Reliance Jio recharge offer and has the same benefits that were covered under their Summer Surprise offer but at a little extra cost.

The Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer gives benefits including unlimited data, free voice, Jio apps and unlimited SMS every month for three months.
For Existing Prime Members

2) Plan: INR 509
Data: 2GB per day
For New SIM and Jio Non-Prime Customers
1) Plan: INR 408 (INR 309 + INR 99)
Data: 1GB per day
2) Plan: INR 608 (INR 509 + INR 99)

Reliance Jio top up plan – Dhan Dhana Dhan offer
The new scheme offers 1GB of data per day for 84 days at the cost of INR 309 and 2GB of data per day at INR 509. The customer needs to be a Jio prime member to avail this offer. For new customers and non-prime members the same 1GB pack will cost INR 408 and 2GB will cost INR 608. Both the plans, as claimed by the company, go with lifetime free voice calls.
As per the company’s website, once the first recharge has expired, Jio users will get the same benefits at same prices. However, the validity will be just 28 days. The operator has also removed all other tariffs from its website.
Jio is expected to become an even worse challenge for the incumbent operators with its newly introduced offers. The customers nevertheless have appreciated and been really excited about the new offers as they’ve been getting benefits of three months at a month’s cost.
