Tata Sky Cuts Down Multi TV Connection Price for HD Setup Box to INR 999 |

As an initiative to increase its HD content subscription, Tata Sky has brought down its price for HD set top box to INR 999 and this will be inclusive of the first month’s subscription fee. The same pack was earlier priced at INR 1800 for the set-top box with an additional fee of INR 240 for first month’s subscription. The total price earlier was INR 2040 which now makes it a saving of INR 1000 after adding HD multi TV connections.
Furthermore Tata Sky is also offering a complimentary 1 month’s HD access fee for subscribers who have not subscribed to it. However, after the first free month the HD access fee of INR 175 is applicable for the main connection and the benefits are applied to all multi connections under the same subscriber id. In case the subscriber does not wish to continue with the HD access fee after the initial free month, he can make a manual deselection from the account management page.
Besides the newly introduced offers, Tata Sky has not made any changes in the cost of its standard definition set-top box that costs INR 1600 exclusive of the subscription fee. This makes the HD set-top box cheaper than the SD set-top box. Subscribers who have CRT TV sets that do not support an HDMI port can also opt for the cheaper HD set top box and connect it to the TV using composite AV wires. To avail the new offers, subscribers are asked to give a missed call to Tata Sky on 7204772047 and the back end team will contact them for the installation process.
