Tata Sky Introduces Two New Broadcaster Packs with HD and SD Channels |

Owing to the recent entries of mini and add-on packs in the DTH and cable industries, a lot of DTH operators have introduced small and affordable packs for the cable TV users. Many of these mini and add-on packs are divided on the basis of language and genres. Tata Sky has also released some attractive DTH recharge packs including two new plans namely Sony Happy India South B and the Turner Family HD pack.
Details of Tata Sky Recharge Packs
The Sony Happy India South B Pack is provided at a rental price of INR 29.5, its MRP being INR 25. This pack offers 6 SD channels namely Sony Ten1, Sony Six, Sony Yay, Sony BBC Earth, Sony Pix, and AXN. Tata Sky is also providing a second pack by the name of Turner Family HD pack which consists of 4 SD and 1 HD channel. Turner Family HD pack includes channels such as HBO HD, CNN, WB, Pogo, and Cartoon Network. This pack is available at a tax inclusive price of INR 14.75. People who are looking for a blend of kids’ channels and English movie channels will find this pack very appealing
Launch of 13 New Mini HD Tata Sky Recharge Packs
Tata Sky has now launched HD add-on channel packs with prices starting at INR 60. These 13 new mini HD packs were out of the budget range and were priced at a range of up to INR 200. These included the Tamil Regional HD pack for INR 164, Tamil Mini HD Pack for INR 81, Telugu Regional and Mini HD pack for INR 216 and INR 90 respectively. Other languages included with these pack are Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi and Bengali. An additional English movies HD mini channel bundle is also available for INR 162.
Pricing is the main difference between the newly launched broadcaster packs and the previously launched HD packs. The recently launched packs are comparatively more affordable. Tata Sky also announced the reduction in its Multi-TV connection charges recently for the benefit of its subscribers.
