Tata Sky and other DTH operators offer Long Term Plans to Subscribers |

With the announcement of new tariffs by TRAI, there were no specific statements made with reference to the long term plans. However, later the authority stated that the long term plans should be restored. Following this, a wide range of long term plans were introduced by almost each of the DTH operator. Depending on how long a user signs up for, the long term offers give free service period on prepayment of subscription fee. The DTH service providers have issued these long term plans on the guidelines laid by the TRAI. This lists the long term plans and offers released by D2h, Tata Sky and Dish TV.
D2H Recharge Plans – Up to 5 months of Free Recharge
In terms of offering the best long term subscription plans, D2H has been one of the best. The operator’s listing suggests that it is offering additional subscription of seven days on a 3-month plan, 15 days of on a 6-month plan, and 30 days on an 11-month plan. It is also offering additional subscription of 60 days on a plan of 22 months, 90 days on a subscription of 33 months, 120 days on a 44 month long plan and 150 days on 55 months plan.
Dish TV Recharge Plan – Up to 30 Days of Free Recharge
Dish TV is almost on the same page as D2H in providing a long term offer. However, the operator is giving away a greater number of free days on long term recharges. Dish TV users will now be getting an additional subscription of seven days on a 3-month plan, 15 days on a 6-months plan and 30 days on an 11-month plan.
Tata Sky Recharge Plan – Up to 30 days of Free Recharge
Tata Sky subscribers will be given a choice between subscription periods which will be quite different from what the other two operators are offering. Tata Sky’s long term plan is called Flexi Annual plan. This pack offers 30 days extra on subscription of the annual Tata Sky package. Subscribers will be able to avail this plan by depositing the annual subscription amount in their Tata Sky account after which the extra credited days will then be available to the subscribers.
