Telenor Taking on the Competition with INR 116 and INR 146 Plans

Telenor, a Norway-based company, has recently announced two new mobile plans for its users. The telecom operator has been quite popular for releasing affordable and best-deal plans so far. The company is nevertheless having a limited presence in the country and had also presented its views about merging with the telecom major Bharti Airtel soon. The new Telecom mobile recharge plans are INR 116 and INR 146.

Telenor Recharge Plans

Ever since Reliance Jio introduced its mind boggling offers, other incumbent operators have been trying to keep up the pace in some or the other form by introducing equally or somewhat more likely beneficial plans to retain their customers. Telenor, has also been releasing attractive offers from which the two latest offers are INR 116 and INR 146 plans. Both these packs are offering unlimited Telenor to Telenor calling and 1GB 4G data per day. INR 146 offers additional benefit of voice calling to another network.

For Maharashtra & Goa, Gujarat, AP & Telangana circles, calls to other networks are capped at 400 mins in the INR 146 plan. The same will be capped at 300 mins for UP East, UP West and Bihar & Jharkhand circles. There is no free SMS or free roaming in both these packs. Telenor is operational in seven circles including Assam, UP West, UP East, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh. Being present in only seven circles and with its existing network quality, Telenor cannot be considered a threat to the incumbent operators. However, after merging with Airtel, the company is expected to have an wider scope for expansion and customer retention.
