Vodafone Announces 4GB Data Offer for Customers Upgrading to 4G Network |

Vodafone users who will be upgrading to 4G network will now be able to avail 4GB of free data as per the new scheme introduced by the company. The new Vodafone 4G data offer will however have some limitations owing to which the customers need to have a 4G enabled handset to get free data and this offer is only for the users based in UP West and Uttarakhand.
Vodafone 4G mobile data offer – 4G SIM availability
The telecom operator has made its 4G SIMs available at all the Vodafone stores, mini stores and local retail stores across the circle. To have the SIM delivered, the customers can also use Vodafone’s doorstep delivery by calling 199. After upgrading to 4G, Vodafone prepaid mobile recharge customers will be able to derive the benefit of 4G data for a period of just 10 days. However, postpaid customers will be able to get the same benefit till their next billing cycle. A 4G handset is required to avail this offer. The company said that within 2 hours of Sim exchange, the free data will be added to the customer’s data balance.

With reference to the new data offer, the Business Head of Vodafone UP West and Uttarakhand, Dilip Kumar Ganta mentioned that the company was proud to offer its services to more than 12.39 million customers in the circle. “We are offering 4GB data free for our customers to experience the benefits of our Data Strong Network and Enjoy unparalleled mobile internet services” added Ganta.
With the new 4G SIM, the user will have to send an SMS text ‘SIMEX’ to 55199 from his/her existing 3G Vodafone SIM card. A reply SMS will be received with partial SIM number entered and the user will have to reply to the same number with the new 4G SIM card’s last six digits. The customer then receives a success SMS and can now enter the 4G SIM in the 4G enabled handset.
Vodafone is offering its 4G services to 17 circles including Uttar Pradesh (West), Maharashtra & Goa, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Assam & North East, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh (East), Gujarat, Mumbai, Delhi, Karnataka, Kolkata and Kerala.
