Vodafone Introduces Bonus Card Offer with 3G Data and Unlimited Calling |

For West Bengal circle based customers, Vodafone India has recently launched new bonus cards INR 599, INR 799 and INR 899 featuring unlimited calling and 3G Data. This offer was followed by Airtel's issue of similar STV having unlimited calls and 4G data.

Previously, the operator had launched unlimited calling bonus card, but it was for selected customer segment. Presently, mobile service providers like Airtel and Vodafone are trying to focus on the launch of true unlimited calling packs to target high ARPU voice users. Many voice customers have switched to OTT network providers who offer free calling through the internet, as a result of increasing number of call drops and cost packs that come at a higher cost.
Vodafone is currently the second largest mobile network operator in India. The company has a subscriber base of 198 million customers across a network of 1,37,332 sites, from which 62,673 are 3G & 4G sites. The mobile operator has recently reported a 5 percent jump in total revenue at INR 44,490 crore for the fiscal ended March 31.
Vodafone India has also revealed its plans for extending its 4G network to Delhi-NCR regions. After this move, Vodafone will become the second player after Airtel, to provide 4G services to customers in Delhi-NCR circle. In an official statement published recently, Apoorva Mehrotra, Business Head for Delhi, Vodafone India, stated "We will provide 4G coverage across Delhi NCR in 6-8 weeks. Customers can avail the service at 3G rates. On Vodafone network, we will be delivering download speed of 8-10 megabit per second,"
