Vodafone Offers Recharge Pack INR 30 with 28 Days of Validity and Full Talk Time
   Oct 23, 2019 03:26 PM

In a move to reduce subscriber loss, Vodafone has been applying substantial efforts. The telecom operator has issued its INR 20 prepaid recharge back once again in select circles a few months back. The pack is now having a validity of 28 days. The UK based operator has also launched recharge plan INR 30 which offers full talk time benefit and service validity. The company is not having an plans to promote its INR 20 pack on a large scale as it may lose subscription of the INR 35 plan which is an all-rounder plan and quite popular amongst basic Vodafone prepaid users. Just like the INR 20 plan, Vodafone’s INR 30 pack was also introduced in select circles. However, the operator is planning to extend the availability to other circles soon.

Vodafone INR 30 Mobile Recharge Plan with Extended Validity

Currently available in select circles such as Mumbai, Kerala and Karnataka, Vodafone’s INR 30 plan is available only for select customers based in these circles. Vodafone is now offering 30 talk time and service validity of 28 days with this plan which was re-introduced by the operator. Third party recharge portals such as Paytm, PhonePe and so on are also providing INR 30 recharge subject to the availability for each user.

Vodafone customers were not expecting the INR 30 to be relaunched as the operator’s INR 35 pack is already providing All-Rounder benefits. This plan is offering 26 talk time, 100MB of 4G/3G/2G data and all the voice calls will be charged at 2.5 paise per second for a period of 28 days.

When compared, the INR 35 All Rounder plan ranks on the top as it offers rate cutter as well as data benefit whereas the INR 30 plan is not available at all places and comes without 100MB data benefit.

Service Validity on Vodafone Prepaid Plans

Exactly a year back, Vodafone and Airtel had launched a minimum recharge scheme for prepaid subscribers. According to the scheme if the customer was not able to pay a minimum recharge of INR 35 then he will stop receiving incoming calls after seven days of current plan’s expiry. As a result plenty of subscribers quit the services. However, both the operators continued with the same strategy as the Average Revenue per User (ARPU) kept on increasing.

In order to extend the account’s service validity by 28 days, Vodafone Idea customers had to recharge with INR 35 every month. This was before the INR 20 plan was launched. However, the company is now giving an option to extend the service validity. Airtel users on the other hand will have to still charge their account with INR 35.
