Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is having a large subscriber base in Kerala circle where it has not been launching many attractive prepaid plans. A subscriber base of 15 million alone in the Kerala circle has kept the state-run telecom operator from being too aggressive in marketing its prepaid plans. Jio has been testing it for the past few months and has finally decided to release its Wi-Fi calling service for voice as well as video calls.
